SLM Servicing and Repairs offer a swift and efficient service with all work and parts fully guaranteed.


Contrary to what many motorists believe, you are no longer obliged to have your car serviced at a main dealer to protect the manufacturer’s warranty.

In 2002 new European commission legislation affecting the motor trade came into force. This is known as '1400/2002 – the Motor Vehicle Block Exemption'. This legislation changed the way cars may be serviced and repaired and gives you the motorist a lot more freedom to choose which organisation will maintain your car.

MOT

We arrange a comprehensive MOT and MOT Repair service which fully complies with the regulations set out by VOSA (Vehicle & Operators Services Agency) regarding the testing of your motor vehicle.


Once testing has completed successfully, you will be issued with the necessary documentation and certificate to take away with you.
In the event of a failure we will discuss with you any work required and the costs involved to ensure a passing certificate can be issued. Only with your authorisation will we carry out any repair work. Similarly, if a car is left with us to test, no repairs will begin until we have discussed the failure with you and received authorisation to proceed.
